The Camera-Shop.co.uk online store was old, and in definite need of modernising and updating. The biggest challenge was providing visitors with help navigating through their massive product range. All the products came directly from their Sage accounting software and it was too much work for a busy small business to go through their thousands of products to re-arrange everything into a better structure.

Random River’s solution was twofold. First, we gave the store a new ‘accordion’ style expanding/collapsing menu system which presented all the key product sections in a logical order to visitors without having to spend months re-arranging everything in Actinic. Secondly, the new design generates a single product page for each product, so visitors can easily see all products in a section page before deciding on the one they want to see in more detail.

The result is a clean modern store design that is less work for Camera-Shop.co.uk to maintain, and much easier for online visitors to find what they want.
